  35. OMG CORBA appears to be one of the most important standards for open
  36. distributed systems.  More and more CORBA-related postings are appearing
  37. on Usenet.  However, due to the lack of a CORBA newsgroup, the discussion
  38. is scattered over a variety of newsgroups, mailing lists, and Web pages.
  39. There is an increasing number of people looking for information on CORBA.
  40. However, they often have difficulties reaching CORBA experts, as many of
  41. the CORBA mailing lists are OMG-internal or only known to CORBA experts.
  42. The purpose of the CORBA Usenet group is to make discussions on the topic
  43. more accessible to the entire network community.

  47. The unmoderated newsgroup comp.object.corba is to be used for technical
  48. discussions, announcements, expression of opinions, and questions that are
  49. related with the OMG CORBA standard.  It also serves as a medium for those
